For those families that donate items, (gift certificates, experiences, vacation getaways, etc.) prizes will be awarded to your children!
For every donation valued over $50
Your child will receive a bag of freshly made kettle corn from the South Pasadena Farmer’s Market in honor of National Popcorn Day, January 18, 2019.
For every donation valued over $250
Your child will be invited to an after-school showing of the Greatest Showman Sing-A-Long on February 1, 2019.
For every donation valued over $500
Your child will be entered into a raffle for a circus animal plush (5 available). Winners will be announced on February 1, 2019 at the Greatest Showman Sing-A-Long event!*

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Carver Community,
Come one, come all! The Carver Elementary School PTA invites you to participate in our amazing andspectacular 2019 Parent Gala and Auction, The Greatest Show: A Million Dreams Gala, which will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Sheraton San Gabriel.
Our children have a million dreams that are inspired by our Arts, Music, STEM, Library, Computer Lab, Community Outreach and Family Educational programs. Each of these programs contributes to CarverElementary School’s high educational standards and its national recognition as both a California Distinguished School and a National Blue Ribbon Award recipient. Each year our Parent Gala provides vital funds necessary to maintain these programs.
Even with the generous support our school receives from our San Marino Schools Foundation, the Carver PTA, and the Carver Enrichment Fund, we are still not able to fully sustain the costs of our school’s programs without the considerable assistance of parents, local and national businesses, and community friends. With that, we invite you or your business to donate items and/or services to our auction and/or place an advertisement in our event program. To donate, please download the donation form on this page and return it to us via mail, e-mail or fax by February 20, 2019. (February 1st for event program advertisements.) Please note that we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization so your donation is tax deductible.
The Gala Fundraising Event is the biggest fundraising event of the school year attended by over 300 Carver Elementary parents, staff, San Marino School District board members, San Marino City Council members, business owners, alumni and community friends. Your tax-deductible donation will receive recognition in our promotional materials as well as the San Marino Tribune, both of which receive widespread circulation throughout the city.
